Lighthouse Park is a beautiful strand of old-growth forest nestled into West Vancouver at the entrance of the Burrard Inlet in BC, Canada
Lighthouses were an integral part a sea-farer's life. Keeping ships from crashing into rocky shores and a welcoming beam signifying home and safety to those sailors that had been at sea for a long time.
The two main purposes of a lighthouse are to serve as a navigational aid and to warn boats of dangerous areas. It is like a traffic sign on the sea.
