About Classic Cars

To us, a classic car is any car built before 1955 or so.  Primarily we are interested in art deco cars of the late twenties, thirties and early forties but we also appreciate those later, such as the Corvette Stingray and 67 Mustang.  Above is photo of a 1938  Bentley

We have become enchanted by the different mascots or hood ornaments that Auto Manufacturers back in the day used to distinguish their cars on the road.  One look at the hood ornament and everyone knew who made the car and the prestige implied therein such as the Lalique nude above

This is a taillight from a 1959 Cadillac Cyclone Concept Car which were automobiles that were prototypes for possible mass production. Most are experimental vehicles that automakers used to test new ideas, technologies, and styles
