About New York City

Many people outside of New York City  think of it as a massive, overwhelming, intimidating, crowded place where people scurry to and fro and never make eye contact; but it is, and I suspect always will be - a magnetic, energetic and head swiveling force of nature.

I think New Yorkers get a bad rap as being unfriendly and abrupt and always in a hurry but if you get the opportunity to engage with them, they can be very interesting conversationalists and very helpful.  As in any big City, however, you will need to stay alert and watch out for scammers.

Some New York City must see attractions are the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Broadway and Times Square if on your first visit but there is so much more to see and experience.
